This BDM role is focused on driving new revenue growth from existing and new clients across a range of sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Directing and participating in initiatives that generate new revenue from clients
- Identifying new business development opportunities, following up thoroughly on each customer commitment, prospecting, qualifying and developing profitable new account relationships
- Creating and developing annual plans and participating in account reviews
- Understanding the clients objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes
- Engaging and negotiating with key stakeholders at all levels throughout your customer base
- Preparing quality proposal/tender responses and deliver professional presentations
- Maintaining a strong pipeline of meetings, presentations and proposals in order to exceed monthly/annual targets
- Proven track record of success, having sold large enterprise software and technology deals
- Ideally you will have 5+ years of experience in Software Sales
- You will have strong communication and presentation skills
- You will have a demonstrated ability to sell complex systems integration solutions
- You will be able to demonstrate your professional proposal writing and presentation skills
- You will possess a strong commercial and business background
- Strong technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts
