My client is a leading software and systems integrator that is truly a household name. They are well established in the market and have made a number of strategic acquisitions in the last couple of years, allowing them to take new and exciting solutions to market. 

This BDM role is focused on driving new revenue growth from new SMB and Mid Market (<500 seats) clients across all industry sectors.

Key responsibilities:
  • Directing and participating in initiatives that generate new revenue from clients
  • Identifying new business development opportunities, following up thoroughly on each customer commitment, prospecting, qualifying and developing profitable new account relationships
  • Creating and developing annual plans and participating in account reviews
  • Understanding the clients objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes
  • Engaging and negotiating with key stakeholders at all levels throughout your customer base
  • Preparing quality proposal/tender responses and deliver professional presentations
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline of meetings, presentations and proposals in order to exceed monthly/annual targets 
Experience required:
  • Proven track record of success, having previous B2B mid market sales experience, ideally selling technology or software deals
  • Ideally you will have 5+ years of B2B sales
  • You will have strong communication and presentation skills
  • You will have a demonstrated ability to sell complex systems integration solutions into business owners, MDs and Directors (both business and IT decision makers)
  • You will be able to demonstrate your professional proposal writing and presentation skills
  • You will possess a strong commercial and business background
  • Strong technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts
